New California State laws as of Jan 1st. 2020. We can now build ADUs on residential property with only a 4 ft setback from your property line. You are allowed up to three units on your property and none have to be owner occupied. You may also now convert your existing garage to living space and not be required to add parking or a new garage. We are room addition experts and can answer any and all your questions. California's new laws no longer let city county HOA or CC&Rs to say no to ADUs.
